Having trouble activating Absolut Privacy Plugin (5 posts)

Would someone direct me on activating the Absolute Privacy Plugin?
I am getting the idea but somehow even after logging out and back in again, my site still has the blog, the Admin link and blog posts appearing on the page. What I am trying to do here is to not have all that visible for others to see. ( there was a post earlier regarding the same issue and I tried to follow the directions given, but I am still having trouble).

    Thank you.

You may send an email to the plugin developer for further assistance.

@anytimo It would be easier to help if we knew:

    • Exactly what you see on your site that you don't want to see.
    • What steps you've already taken to try to solve this issue.
    • What "post earlier regarding the same issue" you used as an example.

If you can answer those questions, maybe I can help.

    Hello Eric,

I apologize for my vagueness! :) Teach me to post questions late at night. :0

Anyways here goes: I will start with my url: asimplepast.com What you see are the blog archives, the meta, admin link, etc. It looks like a blog page. What I want to do is not have that blog info/archives etc visible to visitors when they first see the site, but to have it look like a typical webpage.

I already attempted to add the absolute privacy plugin, thinking that may do the trick. I found out about the plugin through a previous post on here from a member who was having very similar issues to mine. She was consulted to try the plugin so I thought it would not hurt to try it too.

I emailed recently too by the way, asking about the same problem, but the advice did not appear to help, I can email you the copy of the message if you like...

Anyways, with the plug in, I went to settings and then went to absolute privacy.the plugin looks activated, but when I log off then back on again, the webpage still appears the same.
    Hope this clarifies more. :)

When I try to visit that link, I don't see your site ... it automatically redirects to the login page. So you have at least something locking down your site.

Feel free to email me outside of the forums and I can try to take a closer look. eric[at]eamann[dot]com
