Does anyone know how to only have one category show up on the front page. I have several, fun, news, advice etc. but I only want the news to be on the front page.

    thanks.

  • There are lots of ways, I use Scott’s customizeable post listings on http://www.stjohnsboulder.org home.php to show one category per section of the page.

    Plugin: Customizable Post Listings

    hello,
which one of the codes on that site will accomplish this?

    thanks for the help.

Not sure what you mean, the link goes to only one plugin – download that, activate it, and try out some of the examples on that page by adding one or two to your home page template.

If you do a search in this forum there are examples of how to set up a template returning only one category on the home page without using a plugin.
