• good day

    so my problem is:

my site when you on the home page gives you two options
art side or the creative services side
each with their own info and tabs consisting of at least 7 tabs each

what i would like to do is have a multi site with three themes
one for the home page one for Art and one for Creative services

because they are two complete different things i need them to look completely different

will the multi site be my best option and if so on the home page how do i link the two othere sides of the site to the tab buttons

  • A possible solution would be to use subdomains, not sure if this would work:

    primarydomain.tld (home page)
    art.primarydomain.tld (art page)
    creativeservices.primarydomain.tld (art page)

In this scenario each area could have its own theme. I am pretty certain you cannot have one ‘install’ using three themes so would therefore need to have three installs.

You COULD if you were really clever and replicated content in a smart way with PHP checks for host domain.

And then Google would throw your Search Standing into the basement and laugh at you.
