    Hi @mtraps,

I guess you are adding gift for single product. In this case gifts are only shown if there is single product in the cart (product that activates free gift). We can customize plugin to show popup so that it will show gifts with 2+ products in the cart but the problem is that if 2 or more items in the cart has free gift activated it will create a conflict. Hope it is clear.

Hmmm, I am not sure if I was being clear enough sorry.

Say I add a product in my cart that has the free gift activated.
Then I also go shop for another product that is completely different that DOES NOT have the free gift activated. So I have 2 items in my cart, 1 with the free gift and 1 without. The free gift should still be given when the user views cart. But that is not happening, the free gift box doesn’t pop up at all.

Can anyone please assist me with this bug?

Sorry, what type of conflict will arise? The item that triggers that free gift should activate the free gift whether there is 1 item in the cart or 4. If the product has that free gift class added to it, should it work regardless? If not is there a way I can modify the php file?

Please try the following temporary steps to troubleshoot:

    • Switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme
    • Deactivate all of your plugins, no exceptions
    • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
    • Re-login and visit the admin backend and see if that resolves it

Do you still get the problem when you do that?

Before I go through those steps, I would like to know if this plugin works when having more than 1 item in the cart that is not the free gift item. or does it only work when you view cart with the one item that activates the free gift in it?

If you are using single gift configuration from add/edit product page then the gift will be displayed if there is only one item in the cart that activates the free gift.

If you are using global configuration from Woo Free Gift page, then the plugin will work with more than 1 item in the cart like you said.

    Ankit.

    Hello,

I’m having the exact same problem as mtraps.

What I’m trying to do is: offer a free gift when a customer purchases Product A. If they purchase 2 units of Product A, they should still get the free gift. If they purchase 20 units, they should still get the free gift. I have the same problem as mtraps in that once a customer adds more than one unit of Product A, the free gift is gone and/or an error message appears.

If this can be resolved “using global configuration from Woo Free Gift page,” can you please elaborate step-by-step how this can be done?

I tried to login to your support forum, but got an error message saying that the page cannot be found. (This was after I was sent an email saying that I had access to the forum).

    Please help!

    Thank you,

    Davina
