Having headlines appear on a non WP page – Possible?

I set up a WordPress site for a friend and its great, but he wants to add a pod to his company’s home page that has a little blurb about his blog along with the latest article title and link to it.

The company’s home page is not in WP obviously. (Nor is it a PHP page.) Is there an easy way to have it pull that?

I must admit that while I got WP set up fine and everything, I am not a MySQL or PHP expert (more like beginner really – heh), so if this is something easy, I apologize for asking a dumb question. And I do appreciate any help that you can give.
