having a "variable" hyperlink?

    Hey guys: struggling with a problem that I think should be easy but I cannot figure it out…

    I want to be able to have a hyperlink that is totally made up of variables; for example;

    I have the url of the link to be stored in $url
    and I have the “text” of the hyperlink to be stored in $text

    Does anyone know how I would write a html hyperlink that uses these variables?
