I've had a free wordpress.com hosted site (www.LighthouseMediation.com) for a few years. My email and domain are managed through google apps. I've decided to switch to wordpress.org so I can have access to better themes and plugins. I set up a hosting account through GoDaddy and installed the most recent installation of WordPress hosting.

I can't figure out how to update my domain so that it points to the new GoDaddy hosted account. I found a google tutorial that provides directions for 'unlocking' my domain. Here's the tutorial. When I get to step 4. Click on Advanced DNS settings, I'm unable to locate that information within the Google Apps dashboard.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Have you contacted GoDaddy? We don't really handle DNS/registration questions like that here.

Edit: Also you may be in the wrong forum. We're WordPress.ORG support here not WordPress.COM support.

Since you're hosting with Go Daddy, what you'll want to do is be sure to point your domain at your Hosting Account Nameservers with Go Daddy.

First you'll want to locate your Hosting Account Nameservers. Here's how to do that: http://go.me/XU

Once you've determined what your nameservers should be, you'll want to update your domain to point to these nameservers. If you're domain is registered with Google Apps, you should be able to update this information using the instructions here: http://x.co/pN2x

Once everything propagates, you should be able to access your DNS in your Go Daddy hosting account and see the correct site.
