• We haven’t been able to update from Version 3.87.2 because every time we try, it takes our whole website down and we have to restore from a backup version.

Now our sending is paused and the key we’ve been using for at least 2 years is showing “Not valid for premium” and not a valid DNS, even though nothing has changed in our DNS Settings with our domain. The plugin is telling us that the key is not valid for premium, which we don’t have, and since we haven’t updated the plugin for at least 2 years, there’s no way a premium plugin has suddenly been added to the site.

We’ve not been able to send our newsletter for over 2 weeks and nothing has changed regarding the key, our DNS, or any of the settings on the site.

If we had the funds (we’re a small non-profit) to pay someone for website support, we’d figure out a different tool to assist with mailing out our newsletter.

    Hello there @crystalazcare,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It looks like you’ve been having issues updating the MailPoet plugin. You can download the latest version of the plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailpoet/ and upload it directly under your WordPress Admin > Plugins. You can follow the same instructions here: Installing the MailPoet Premium plugin

I understand from your message that you are also having issues authenticating your sender domain. Please follow the steps below in order to solve those and be able to send with the MailPoet Sending Service:

Please note that you will need to add the four DNS records through your DNS provider. Usually, it is the same organization you purchased your domain from (e.g. GoDaddy, NameCheap), or your hosting company. If you think that you have added them but you are still seeing that error message, please get in touch with your hosting support to have them verify the DNS records.

If after all you need further help, please reach back to us and make sure to include the information from WP-Admin> MailPoet > Help > System Infoin your reply.

    Thanks for your patience
