have you ever used FishPig?

    Thinking about using Fishpig to integrate my blog into my Magento site. I was hoping to get some honest feedback before committing to this decsion. Has anyone every used this before? What do you like/dislike? Are there any major backend issues that would effect SEO or slow down a page?

    I haven’t used it on a live site (yet), but I have one in the works that’s going to be live very soon. It’s a pretty good system. I haven’t found any major issues yet, so I think that it’s pretty polished.

    As far as SEO goes, it claims to work in with a few of the more popular SEO plugins, and I’ve seen that it works correctly with the Yoast SEO plugin so that side of things is fine. As far as page loading time goes, you’re uisng Magento… that’s where the bottelneck will always be. The tiny bit of extra overheard from loading the WordPress site through the extension into the Magento system is pretty much nothing compared to what the standard out-of-the-box Magento system needs so I would not be concerned about that at all.
