• In the last 10 days or so, I’ve been having a problem with Jetpack.

I use the Sharing and Shortcode Embeds modules. Every few days, my sharing icons disappear and my shortcode embed codes stop working.

When I log into my site, I’m prompted to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com.

When I click the button to connect, I receive one of the following two errors:

    1. Invalid request, please go back and try again.
    Error Code: invalid_client
    Error Message: Unknown client_id

    2. verify_secrets_missing

In order to get Jetpack working again, I have to delete the plugin, empty my site’s object cache, and reinstall and activate the plugin.

Do you know why Jetpack stops functioning every few days? Thank you for any help you can offer.

Jetpack stopped working sometime since yesterday and it is prompting me to connect to WordPress.com again today.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin but I’m still unable to connect. I’m getting the verify_secrets_missing error.

Could you try to deactivate and delete the plugin via the Plugins interface in your dashboard, and then install it again from scratch?

If you continue to experience issues, could you let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site?

    Thanks!
