have the more tag not come between two tags

Hi there. I am not sure where to post a ticket, and of what sort. so I am writing this here in hope someone will either tell me where to post a ticket and/or post it himself.

The issue is:
too often I come across people using WP that suddenly get there entire blog with italic, or bold.
the reason is because they started the tag on some text. then pressed the more tag, and then the text ended (with the closing tag of the italic) after the more tag.

Maybe there should be a safe guard mechanizem in wordpress preventing this from happening.

p.s: can someone add to the forums to “the version you are using” 2.7 ?
