Have Sidebar only on Homepage

    Hi. Is it or would it be possible to have the sidebar show only on the homepage and not posts? The current sidebar settings combine the homepage and posts, so I am unable to have a sidebar on the homepage without showing up on posts as well.

    I realize there is a slight workaround to this, which is to manually edit a post and select the “Content only (no sidebar)” option, however this would be quite tedious. At the moment I’m painfully going through every post on my site and editing them to have no sidebar. It would be great if there was a way to separate the homepage and posts. Thanks!

    Hi,

    You can go to Appearance > Customize > Layouts > Sidebars > Blog Posts: Content no sidebars, to set no sidebars on all posts.
