Have separate categories on pages

Okay, I am still learning WP. Here’s the setup…

I am looking to setup different PAGES that will display their own personal set of categories.

For instance, I want a page for sports, and on that page you’d find categories specifically referencing sports. I want it so that these categories are not shown on any other pages except the sports page.

I am assuming there mnight be a plugin, but I am looking for help as i am still learning the lingo for WP and want to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks!!
