Have one word instead of first and last name

    Hi,

    In the user profile info, there is first and last name fields,
    Could it be set to just have one word instead of first and last name?
    Maybe a box that says Display Name.

    Hi,

    It’s not possible out of the box. However, you can set your community to use usernames instead of first and last names.

    Alternatively, you can disable Last Name field and rename First Name field to whatever you fancy. Even ‘display name’.

    One last thing..

    The profile page still shows the first and last name to the right of the image,
    Although I have it set to only show the first name, renamed it to Display Name.

    EDIT

    I fixed that by disabling “required” option under the Validation tab.
