Hi Stephen,
Hope you’re well?

A client of mine has asked if it is possible for the end date and times to be blank as the default. That’s because they hardly ever need to give the end time (they don’t often know when their meetings will end).

Is there a way to make this the default? Even if I need to add some code to my functions.php?

Hi Ian,

They need to provide a time, unless it’s an all-day event. But you can set the default start/end datetime and whether it’s an all-day event using this filter (filters an array of event schedule data): https://github.com/stephenharris/Event-Organiser/blob/c87053a059089cce1220a501d70dae5ca90f5bb6/includes/event.php#L579

(However, you’ll need to determine if you’re filtering that value for a new, rather than existing event. You might need to do that my checking the database)
