Have No Editor Tab In Dashboard

Hi,

I’m a bit confused in that I don’t have an editor option under the appearance tab on the dashboard? How do I get it as I want to edit my theme. I also don’t know which version of WordPress I have as I can’t look in any files but I downloaded it in October so it should be the most recent one
