Would there be any way to have the document list link to the document in a post using the Google Doc Embedder.
Rather than having individual documents available as download.

Maybe using the google doc embedder shortcode or something?

    [[gview file="http://www.yoururl.com/doc.pdf"]]

Would love to display the document, in an actual site page.

Currently I am working on a version that no longer uses the google docs embedding. Google seems to be moving to removing embedding so I have made the decision to move to another platform.

You are saying the current version uses google doc embedding then somehow?
This is possibly something I was not aware of.

I was referring specifically to the plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-document-embedder/

So using that plugins functionality somehow to be able to open Memphis Documents in the library. If there was another solution to open documents within the body of a theme page, that would be great also.

    Thank you, for any suggestions.

yes mDocs currently using google docs to embed. If you click on the preview tab or the magnifying glass you will get a embedded document.

There is currently no options to view a embedded document without mDocs frame work.

Hey I’m really just starting to implement your plugin, so still a relative newbie on this one.
Thanks for you work on this awesome archive.

    I am confused on categories.
Would like to categorize documents separately from post categories.
IS there a separate category taxonomy for the mdocs vs regular posts?
Trying to keep my regular posts categories slim and clean.
There will be tons of doc types, for different seasons and sports.

No, categories are categories there is no difference. You can add whatever cat you want to your mDocs posts.

Just click on the mDocs Post tab in the dashboard and do the same thing you would with a regular post.

    Hope this helps.
