    Hi,

I installed an SSL recently, and it seems that this plugin logged out of my Dropbox account and did not backup my files according to my settings, and so now the earliest version available is one that does not have the SSL installed. It is showing an error saying it’s a different website, but in fact it is still the same website, just with an added certificate of security. So is there a way to avoid this problem? I am hoping you have a solution to this as the only other idea I would have would be to ask my host to uninstall the security certificate in order to be able to restore my website with your plugin.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hi,

Can you re-authenticate your Dropbox storage again please? You should be able to send backups again after re-authenticating.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

    Hi,

Yes I already re-authenticated it and it is showing the message “You appear to already be authenticated”… Please see the linked image below.

I installed an SSL, since then. Would I need to have my SSL uninstalled in order to avoid this error? Or is there another way around this?

    Hi,

As the only difference in the URLs is the http/https, you should be able to carry on with the restoration, ignoring the warning.

After the restoration, you will need to log in and alter the Site URL and WordPress URL in the General settings to include the ‘https’
