    Hi there , I have some issue for coursepress plugin . hope someone are able to answer my question .

    i)Time estimation only for “show” purpose? How about time limit on units?
    Example : I have set the Time Estimation (mins) for the quiz are 1 minute. but student are allow to answer the quiz even is over 1 minute . is it that only for show purpose ?

    ii)Retake a “fail” quiz in unit? If the student are failing the quiz is it able to retake ? Example : For Subjective question , after teacher grade the mark and student fail , is it able to request the student retake and regrade mark for the student ?

    iii)How to calculate mandatory elements percentage? User failed an answer is consider 0%?
    Example : I set a quiz for student with mandatory answer status . And Student have answer but with wrong answer . And his getting 0 percent unit of completion and no allow to go tru second unit. i thought mandatory mean the student are only need to answer but doesn’t necessary to be correct .

    How are you doing today?

    Yes Time estimation is only only to display estimated time your students are supposed to finish their units/course if that makes sense.

    Limit attempts allows your students to retake a question, you can find the option in each of the unit elements, see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/VHOkW5fwyWwV.

    iii)How to calculate mandatory elements percentage? User failed an answer is consider 0%?

    Completion % is auto calculated by the number of elements inside the unit if that makes sense.

    Mandatory means student needs to answer the question before proceeding, not to provide a correct answer.

    I have the set as mandatory answer for the quiz . But when student answer wrongly the completion are unable to 100% and it can’t generate the certificate for the student .

    This is definitely possible but it would require custom coding, this was mentioned couple of times on WPMU DEV forum as well so we’ll consider that for future development.

    Not really sure what you mean, you can check student results in Assessment section to see their answers and also in Report section.

    iii) I have check the mandatory element . If student fail the quiz , the completion percent of unit will be minus and unable to get 100% completion . And them are unable process to next unit .

    Number of failed attempts is not being recorded, in Reports section you can see the last answer from the student. you can limit that by using Limit Attempts in the element.

    iii) What do you have set for Minimum grade required for that specific element http://screencast.com/t/GMq9WDKG?

    Also since this is an input field this means you’ve assessed the answer from that student, did you grade it with lower % then that is needed for student to pass?

    Hi There ,

    So can the minimum grade set by total unit ?? because now the minimum grade are separate by single question . Example Question A 40% Question B 60% so i set total unit minimum grade are 70% , and student have to answer question A and B and get above 70% just pass .

    Unfortunately it can’t. Total % of the unit is calculated automatically based on number of graded answers in it. You can’t have elements within a unit giving more points (%) then the other elements if that makes sense.

    You can use options that we pointed out here http://www.screencast.com/t/E0vMh19JqaAM to require students to pass the unit based on passing all mandatory assessments and the score of each element/question.
