Have a logo AND a title and tagline

So, with the lovecraft theme, there’s an option to upload a custom logo, however that would overwrite the site title and tagline per default. Is there a way to add a logo and not overwrite site title and tagline?
On the Desktop version there’s easily space to place e.g. a small square logo on the left or right. Placing it on mobile is a bit more difficult due to the Hamburger menu button and the search button. But maybe it’s possible to but both of these to the left and have the logo on the right (current location of search button) on mobile?

Wanted to check whether this might be en route already with an update, before I try add it as additional code in a Child Theme?
