I don’t want to invest time in building a GUI for this plugin. If I did a minimalist job, it wouldn’t be enough for many and they’d want more; if I went hole-hog, it would be too much and probably would be everything that people dislike about some of the other map plugins. It would also require much more maintenance work — for free! So I’m keeping this plugin nice and simple, but still flexible enough.
Maybe one day I’ll write a pro extension that wraps this plugin, providing settings and a nice GUI for adding maps, with development and maintenance funded by its sale price. But I don’t have plans for that any day soon; there are lots of very powerful map plugins already out there and joining that club would be a lot of work.
