Hashtag support when tweeting new posts (not importing)

I am currently using the older Twitter Tools 2.x and it seems like this Social plugin is a replacement for that functionality of tweeting out new posts, while Twitter Tools 3.x is more about importing tweets–which I have no use for.

Currently with the older version of the Twitter Tools I can create a meta data field in my post containing a list of hashtags and when it comes time to tweet out the new post/link it tries to cram in as many of those as possible into the tweet. From the screenshots and information listed here, it doesn’t appear that there is a way to do that with the Social plugin. Is this possible?
