Support » Plugin: NextGEN Custom Fields » Hardcoding (new dynamically populated) custom fields?

Hello, thank you for a great plugin!

I want to use the saving functionality of it and hardcode some custom fields with dynamically populated content – such as dropdowns with values of custom taxonomy tags.

Can you point me in the right direction what parts of the plugin I should edit so I won’t break it? Thank you very much!

    Hi Cibulka

The custom fields are outputted in the ‘Manage Gallery’ screen by the function nggcf_admin_col() in the ngg-custom-fields.php file.

You can have a look at getting what ever you want to populate the <select> box there, but obviously any updates to the plugin will overwrite any changes you make.

    Good luck 🙂
