Hard to set up

    The recommended carousel plugin is very difficult to use and there is no way to easily change the size of the header image. I expected to see some kind of a header image parameter in the theme details section. If it was there it is not easy to find.

    Load speed. When I tested the demo this was one of the fastest I tested. But on my server even with w3 Total Cache, I cannot get more than a 79% C grade on load speed. YSlow is an A.
