# Hard coded and WordPress

 * Hi,
 * I want to make a website with WordPress because it’s very convenient. But I’m
   new and I’d like to know if I can make one with a hard coded Front Page? It’s
   because I want the Front Page to be fully based on design and animation. But 
   once in the main content it would be pure WordPress. If that is even possible.
   Any idea or tips?

 * Yes – it’s possible by configuring your site to use a [static front page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page)
   and then creating an applying a [custom page template](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#Creating_Your_Own_Page_Templates)
   to that page.
