Hard app uninstall and reinstall

  • I have installed “Resume Submissions and Job Postings” App on my website. It stopped working after an update, and I’ve read that it’s still working for other people who updated. I wanted to uninstall and reinstall this app, but when I reinstalled it, all of the data was still saved, and it’s still broken. I was wondering where I remove its data that’s saved in the background. I checked my phpmyadmin database on goDaddy, and I only see a database for the saved applicants. Where would I find the other information? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Hi Slimmons,

Are you wanting to do do a completely new clean WordPress installation? Or just remove the plugin data?

    Kind regards
    Jamie

Thanks for the response. I just need to remove the plugin data. Any way that’s possible to remove everything from the plugin, so that when I reinstall it, it is absolutely fresh. Thanks

I think deleting all the tables that are related to the plugin will reset the plugin to default state when you reinstall the plugin. The plugin creates tables with names that have these letters _rsjp (got this from here). Please do take a backup of WordPress and the database before trying anything.
