Hang on "Importing HTML file…"

    I’m new to wordpress. Recently I want to upload a batch of collected articles (in HTML format) so I built a wordpress site using the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and installed HTML importer 2.

    However, it hangs on “Importing HTML file…” after I submit. I tried to import single file and directories, as well as import from my computer and the directory on my wordpress server, but nothing works.

    Can anybody help me with that? Thanks very much!
