Seeing the following console error when I click the hamburger menu. It changes to an X but the menu doesn’t appear, and clicking the control again doesn’t change it back to a hamburger.

Blocked aria-hidden on an element because its descendant retained focus. The focus must not be hidden from assistive technology users. Avoid using aria-hidden on a focused element or its ancestor. Consider using the inert attribute instead, which will also prevent focus. For more details, see the aria-hidden section of the WAI-ARIA specification at https://w3c.github.io/aria/#aria-hidden.
    Element with focus: <{button. navbar-toggle>
    Ancestor with aria-hidden: <nav.header--row header-main hide-on-desktop layout-full-contained nv-navbar header--row>
    <nav class="header--row header-main ...

I have disabled plugins using Health Check. There is custom CSS but this still occurs when I comment out all of it. I have other Neve websites that aren’t experiencing this issue and I compared but don’t see what’s different about this one. So again, this is using just Neve with no plugins and no custom CSS.

The website is in production so I can’t give a link to the non-working page, since I worked around the problem. Multiple browsers show same problem. Neve is up to date.

    Hi,

Unfortunately this is very difficult to check without a link to the site. Maybe you can try creating a staging site (a duplicate of the live site) so we can see the issue.

    Thank you!

Okay. You can see the problem at https://wga.torknado.com/

    Hi,

    Thanks for sharing the link.

Can you please share if you are using a child theme? Also, can you please share the version of Neve you are using?

    Thank you!

I’m using the latest version of Neve. No child theme. As this is a test site, if you need more access to it, that can be arranged.

    Hi,

Thank you for confirming that. Ok, if you can provide a https://tastewp.com/ instance where the issue is replicable, with just Neve installed, I would be happy to have a look.

    Thank you!

I am messaging you in Slack to provide the login details for the demo site.

Haven’t heard back, just wanted to make sure you’re aware these things stay up on tastewp for a very limited time.

    Hi,

Sorry, I’ve missed the message there. I’ve just answered you there. Let’s continue discussing there.

    Thanks!

Hi — did you all figure out the problem with the hamburger menu in mobile dimensions? I’m having the same problem here (using Neve and a child theme, haven’t changed anything about the menu).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Tom,

Yes, the issue was that the Primary Menu component was not added in the mobile header builder https://vertis.d.pr/i/662dxo . https://docs.themeisle.com/article/946-neve-doc#mobile-header

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    Rodica
