Half day bookings

Is there a way that you can do a half day booking. I look after a website for a client that runs a holiday lettings and they would like people to be able to checkout in the morning and then have the next visitor book in within the afternoon. Please let me know if this is possible?

I have tried the multiple bookings on any day but this seems to clear the booking calendar front end of bookings visually.
