Well…for small site, it can work but for medium and large site, no way.
To save 1gb it takes more dozens hours and end up with errors and finally no backup.
Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=
many try, many config adjust, but nothing to do. +30 hours after launch (lol) I decide to stop task and forget backwpup. Trash is a good place for….sorry

Not bad, really. But not working 100%, sometimes it stop to work (cron), takes a very very long time to backup. Sometimes it fail.
Vhen it works, it’s a great plug-in, but don’t trust it hundred %
And home_phone_client_init(), oh my gosh !!!
    Moving to another plug-in

  • Hello @tekihatsu

I’m very sorry to hear, you are not happy with our plugin. And yes, I agree with you that for some users problems may occur. We are continuously working on improving our plugin, and are happy to help and will try to fix the problem, if you open a support ticket.
Regarding phone home: it collects only technical data of your hosting server, no personal data are exchanged. And data is sent only if you agree. In future releases we also plan to provide a setting to completely disable it, if you wish.

    Kind regards
    Christina

    Thanks Christina.
Sorry for my bad review, I’m fed up about companies trying to collect personal datas and sometimes I’m not patient.
As I told you, it’s a great plugin and if you are clear with your customers about their datas, for sure, most people gonna come back to you.
    It’s what I will do.
    Regards

    Hey @tekihatsu

we really appreciate you are staying with us. As Christina told you, we are only collecting technical data. For example, how many users are still using PHP 5.3, so we can decide, if we support such old and unsecure versions of PHP or not, based on the numbers of users. We only collect data to improve the plugin and user experience, nothing else. Because as you too, we are also absolutely against collecting any personal data!

Thansk a lot and have a great day!

    Alex
