# Hacking Around with RSS….

 * Couple questions. I edited feed-atom.php so that my post thumbnails would appear
   in the excerpt. You can see it live here – [http://feeds.feedburner.com/TriplePundit](http://feeds.feedburner.com/TriplePundit)
 * Basically the images are just raw HTML next to the excerpt, inside the “CDATA”
   stuff..
 * I’m curious about a few things:
 * 1) Is this a really bad hack that will screw anyone’s reader up?
    2) If I upgrade
   wordpress in the future will my changes get overwritten? Since this is not a 
   theme file?
