Hacked Sites

    I had cleaned my sites, at least to a point that I could see at first glance. Then i had also changed my login password to my hosting and made it a very strong password. BUT I saw that new malicious content was again installed on my sites as files and folders. What may be wrong and what can I do? Hacked sites include static ones as well as wordpress sites. One thing to note, sites I had started relatively new, are unaffected. Only the older sites are hacked.

    Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

    Other reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you also include WP Fix it, HackRepair and WP White Security.
