• One of my sites was hacked and I have followed all of the “This is what I did” posts and it appears that some of the new plugins are keeping any further damage. The problem is that I have found a public facing file upload utility and I cannot figure out how to remove it. Can someone point me in the right direction? This is obviously how they have been uploading the thousands of files to my server.

    Thanks!

Remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

I appreciate your response, but this is the exact post that I have seen all over and it is very helpful, but has not helped me find this one area. I am specifically trying to locate what is causing a File Upload to appear on my site.

I haven’t encountered that type of hack myself, so if you really have tried every single step in that guide, hopefully someone else will have some ideas for you.
