Hacked by dbuzz and Admin folder deleted

    Hoping someone can help me.

    My site was hacked overnight by dbuzz. I managed to get someone to delete the index.html file via FTP so it now looks like my site to the outsider…BUT the hackers also deleted my Admin folder so when I go to the /wp-admin page it says “Error 404 | Nothing found! Sorry, but you are looking for something that is not here.”

    There was a WP upgrade notification just prior to getting hacked so think I am on the second last version.

    How do I gain access to my site again???

    If you have a backup of your site, you can use that to restore back to the last working version. If just the admin folder was removed (unlikely) you can FTP into your webserver and upload the wp-admin folder. If you don’t know how to do that, you might be able to contact your web host and see if they can perform the fix for you.

    If they for some reason won’t help you out you may have to hire a WordPress developer to help assist you with your problem.

    Hi, I was just hacked yesterday, and while the hacker only changed my index.php file. I found out that the admin account was deleted as well. I checked the phpMyAdmin database and confirmed that the account really was deleted. Is it possible to make another admin account?
