Hi @paddy76,
Thank you for contacting us, We have tested it on our staging environment and it’s working perfectly fine. Please share with us the screenshots of H5P settings so we can try to replicate it on our end.

Hi @arsalantariq,
Thank you for the assistance. That updated plugin works.
Little issue with the “Points for completing H5P content” is that one doesn’t award points. The “specific content” works great though.
Ideally, I would like to be able to limit only 1 point for each content piece per user. Not a huge deal, but if I am missing something, please do let me know.
Thanks again for sorting this out so quickly.
Best regards,
Pat

Hi @paddy76,
Please use the updated plugin shared below. It will work fine with both general and specific hook. You can set the limit for the general H5P content hook. Currently, we do not have this functionality in the specific hook because the user will get a point only once for attempting a specific content. We have enabled the feature only for you that the user gets points multiple times on completing a specific hook.

Hi @arsalantariq,
Thank you so much for the exceptional support.
I may have miscommunicated. โPoints for completing H5P contentโ is working now just fine thank you ๐
I wanted to limit the number of times a user could get points for the specific hook.
It is fine though, I can do the workaround I guess. No need to worry. The scenario is that we want users to only be able to do specific content once a week for example. As we have 5 specific activities, each of which can only be done once for a point that week.
Thanks again for the great plugin and service.
Br,
Patrick
P.s. In the future, a great function would be to be able to award different points for different percentages, like 1 point for 10%, 5 points for 50% etc.

Hi @paddy76,
That looks like a great suggestion, can you please add it here so our technical team can review it?
Hello,
I’m having a similar issue.
I’ve tried both H5P Content and Specific H5P Content’s hooks but not getting any points (or points log entry) after completing a H5P multiple choice I’ve created for testing
These are my installed versions:
Wordpress 5.9
H5P 1.15.4
MyCred 2.4.2
MyCred H5P integration 1.2.1
I believe they are all the latest. The site is new for testing porpuse.
Could you help me on this?
Thanks in advance!
Hello!
The hook is working now, the thing is that it only adds the points once even if the limit parameter is set to “No Limit”.
It could be an issue on my side?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my previous request.

Hi @rushfederico,
Can you please make sure that you have enabled the “Central deposit” add-on?
@paddy76:
“In the future, a great function would be to be able to award different points for different percentages, like 1 point for 10%, 5 points for 50% etc.”
This is essential, otherwise students cannot be graded correctly.
@arsalantariq: Any idea when it could be implemented?

@paddy76,
In myCred h5p points are awarded only once. This is exactly how the plugin works. If the user has got the points for completing content. The user will not be able to get points again. But you can add the suggestion here so our technical team can review it.
