Support » Plugin: Disable Gutenberg » H1 through H6 forced uppercase in editor

    Hi there!

In both Classic Editor and DG when we go to edit a post or create one, all the headline styles are forced uppercase in the visual editor only.

In HTML view they are mixed case as desired and intended. On the front end the CSS works as intended and therefore they are mixed case.

Any ideas why the editor would “misrepresent” these styles?

Here’s a little screencast demo of the problem with Classic Editor but the problem is identical with DG.

Any help or advice will be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Doug

Glad to help. I’m not able to replicate all-uppercase heading tags, but if you can provide clear steps to recreate the issue, I will investigate and try to resolve in a future update.

No idea, but it sounds like something is interfering with normal functionality. Most likely a theme or plugin is doing something weird. Best advice is to do some basic troubleshooting to determine the exact cause of the issue.

Hey dblacombe, I hope you got this sorted. It’s been a few days since my previous reply, so I’ll assume the best and mark this ticket as “resolved” to help keep things organized. Feel free to post again if there is anything I can do to help. Thank you.
