# Gzip doesn’t work

 * Hello,
 * Tried pretty much everything, enabling it with wp-rocket or hummingbird, automatic
   and manual, Gzip doesn’t activate.
 * My hosting provider assured me Gzip was enable on the apache servers they run.
 * I have no idea what to do, thanks for the help

 * Sorry to hear you are having this problem.
 * I tested some online tools and I can see it isn’t enabled on the server:

 * Could you please ask your hosting provider to check if the Apache is allowing
   the htaccess to override the server settings.
