# Gzip Compression – working/not working

 * I enable Gzip but and it is confirmed: [https://screencast.com/t/ssTMHTCP2H](https://screencast.com/t/ssTMHTCP2H)
 * But when I check ‘improvements, I get this:[https://screencast.com/t/ALzYErxP](https://screencast.com/t/ALzYErxP)
 * and in GT Matrix is this: [https://screencast.com/t/nNAcSWvRFqs](https://screencast.com/t/nNAcSWvRFqs)–
   which I presume is a red herring as it is an external CSS file so can’t be touched.
 * So just wondering what I should believe?

 * The resources in question are located on remote servers. Hummingbird can control
   only your server configuration.

 * Welcome. You can try to move them to your server and give Cloudflare integration
   a go. They have a free tier that can be used to host all the assed on their CDN.
   And it works well with Hummingbird.
