    Dear sir,
    My hosting provider has enabled gzip compression on my website but still gzip compression is not working and I am getting the following message after installing hummingbird plugin

    Gzip is not working properly:

    – Your server may not have the “deflate” module enabled (mod_deflate for Apache, ngx_http_gzip_module for NGINX).
    – Contact your host. If deflate is enabled, ask why all .htaccess or nginx.conf compression rules are not being applied.

    My hosting is in Hostitsmart and Gzip is enabled

    Can you help me, please ?

    Regards,
    Rohit R

    Hello there @rohitrunwal,
    hope you’re doing well today!

    I just wanted to test that using the following Gzip tester website:

    but it seems that the domain you shared isn’t accessible (I’m getting that’s unavailable and some colleagues of mine are getting the following notice: “Your connection is not private
    Attackers might be trying to steal your information from http://www.smarthomeshopping.in (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID”
    )

    Please resolve the above issue and let us know to check this once more. 🙂

    Thank you,
    Dimitris
