GZ download issue driving me crazy

So, I have the issue where WP SC downloads the GZ file on the home page, instead of serving it up.

I’ve looked around for solutions and tried the following for http://www.invurt.com

– disabled compression, updated mod_rewrite ddidnt work and kept serving it
– disabled then re-enabled compression, didnt work
– uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled, updated mod-rewrite, didnt work

Everything I have read has said that his is fixed by disabling the actual compression, but in my case, it just hasnt worke and continues to serve up the GZ files for the homepage (all other pages are fine).
