  • Hi

Elementor is a plugin and has never been part of core WordPress.

So WordPress haven’t changed from Elementor.

Hope that helps clarify things for you.

    Hi Jamie,

I have over 24 websites I’ve built through SiteGround and there plugin used for building all these sites was Elementor now its using Gutenberg which I can’t get one with and SiteGround say this is a change WordPress have made.

Even uninstalling this plugin (Gutenberg) and installing Elementor is still not working

    Thanks

    Laura

    Hi Laura,

    That sounds very odd.

We use Siteground for some customers and they’ve never pre-installed the elementor plugin.

Elementor has never been part of wordpress, so im not sure why you’ve been told it’s a change that wordpress have made.

Gutenberg is a plugin, but’s also now the default wordpress editor.

Millions of sites use elementor (and the new wordpress editor) so my hunch is that something else is causing your elementor problems.

Thanks Jamie, do you think I’d be better going back to SiteGround then?

    Yup i would

I have a look at your website and there some design issue and some contents are not HTTPS.
