    Suggestions relating to the ‘Add Block’ selector;

    If there is plenty of space on the user’s screen, then the drop down selector menu can be larger. While they are making the choice of the next block, they do not need to be looking at much else anyway, so it could take up much of the screen.

    1) Perhaps consider a mega menu type selector presentation.
    This may also reduce the likelihood that a further submenu expansion/drop down arrow will need to be clicked on, as some of the more important submenus can be expanded by default.

    2) It would be handy for the user to be able to drag and drop, some of their commonly used blocks to the main top bar, or some other toolbar.
    Until there is a drag and drop facility, in the mean time it would be handy to be able to ‘choose a block to add’ to the toolbar, say either by a check box beside the block, or right click on the block, or some other way.

    3) The icon for the block type that displays in the top bar (at least for ‘paragraph’) is a similar color and appearance to the justification icons. It’s a small point, but this could be improved by some visual difference, say the colour of the perimeter of the button.
