Support » Plugin: cformsII » Gutenberg Update error saving page with shortcode

  • Not sure what is going on, but getting an “Updating Failed” error in Gutenberg on a page when updating after adding the CForms2 shortcode [cforms name=”XYZ”] (yes I used my own existing form name).
The odd thing is it saved fine, and the form displays fine.
Making any change to any of the blocks also triggers the error message when Updating, unless I change the CForms shortcode to just [cforms].
All I can find that might give a clue is this post from another plugin developer:

I have not looked into the Gutenberg editor and this will need some more time. However, I would love to take patches for proper Gutenberg support.

    Having this exact error.
Without the shortcode, page saves fine, but with the shortcode (in block and on editor) page has error
