Support » Plugin: Clear Cache for Me » Gutenberg still caching files

    Hi,

Thank you for the great plugin.
It’s been working well, but I’ve come across and issue.

I add all of the CSS as stylesheets.
I edit the CSS inside of those files with a File Manager plugin.
With your plugin, the cache is disabled and the new version of the file is used.

But, this doesn’t work when using Gutenberg.
I’m adding classes with a single rule that I can later use in the editor, because the styling options are limited.
The problem is that, the first version of the file is cached and later changes do not apply.

What can be done to solve this?

    Hi,

I’ve also had problems with the WordPress editor (even before Gutenberg) caching the editor stylesheet. I’m not sure if there’s anything to do besides clear your browser cache after you update it. You can also try visiting the file directly, but sometimes that still doesn’t do it.

Oddly, changing the name of the file didn’t work.

Purging the cache is inconvenient, since I use the same browser for personal stuff.

Maybe I’ll open an issue on Git.

    Thank you
