# Gutenberg not loading properly

 * I upgraded a customers older wordpress site to the latest version and thought
   I would enable gutenberg to show them the new features and better editor. When
   i go to edit a post, i get a basic editor page with none of the gui and sidebar.
   At the top it says Thank you for creating with WordPress. Version 5.1.1
 * Can anyone suggest what may be wrong and why gutenberg isnt loading properly.

 * It’s possible that there is a plugin conflict, especially with plugins that interacted
   previously with the classic editor or are part of 3rd party page building experience.
 * Install the Health & Troubleshooting plugin. Without interrupting the site for
   the public, this plugin empowers you to disable all plugins and activate a default
   theme like Twenty Seventeen. See if it’s still not loading correctly and then
   enable one plugin at a time, until it breaks again.
 * Let us know what you find!
