• This is a weird one. I upgraded this site to WordPress 5.0 no problem. I’ve been using Gutenberg for a while and am fine with it. The issue is in the WordPress dashboard; the site looks fine.

Well, on only one computer, when editing a page or a post, some of the Gutenberg blocks are behind the WordPress meta data etc. that is usually at the end of the page after Gutenberg. On 2 other computers, I can see all of the blocks, and when I add a block, the WordPress stuff moves down. On this one computer, which is the computer my client works on the most, this does not happen so he can’t get to most of his text.

Why would one computer not work correctly? And the dev site works on his computer, but the new live site does not. Both work on the other 2 computers. All 3 computers are running Windows 10.

There was no way I could figure out how to get screen shots, or explain this any better. I hope if makes some sense, and someone may have an idea for us.

    Thanks.

  • That’s an interesting puzzle. I understand that this can be puzzling, though. Haha. Couldn’t resist.
To troubleshoot this, I would see of you can have the client switch to a different browser: Google Chrome or Firefox, and see if the problem persists. It might also be some browser extensions installed that could interfere with the Javascript scripts. So you might want to disable those temporarily, until you are able to narrow it down some more.

Does that help you in any way?
