    WordPress 5.3
    Gutenberg 6.9

When TinyMCE Advanced is activated, the keyboard shortcut for underline is not working in Gutenberg.

I tried to look into the source code of the plugin but it’s minified.

The part in Gutenberg which adds the keyboard shortcut for Underline is here:

    I hope it helps.

Just tested this again and it seems to work properly here.

@gziolo thanks for the link. Yeah, that’s pretty close to how the TinyMCE Advanced plugin adds this shortcut (just written a bit differently) 🙂

@slkfsdf8y34ljhsfsdfkuhfkl84hj the TinyMCE Advanced plugin allows you to remove the Underline button. If you removed it, the shortcut for it will not work either. Perhaps try placing it in the Formatting section in the inspector (right sidebar).

I have installed TinyMCE for the first time and didn’t do any kind of configuration on it. That means that they don’t have the underline button by default. This is bad UX and should be fixed. That means that TinyMCE should have the underline button added by default in the configuration.
