Are there any plans to have this plugin updated to work within Gutenberg blocks (besides the classic editor block, obviously)??

Hi Nick,

WordPress RC1 ( Release candidate ) coming in 3 days ( October 30th ) after which no bigger changes to WordPress and Gutenberg will be done. So that’s when we’ll be testing everything out.

Unfortunately no. They still haven’t made it possible for developers to make adjustments in there. Sorry.
