    Hello+

Thank you for creating Yoast! I love it and use it on every site I own and/or manage! Recently I was researching the upcoming Gutenberg change on WordPress and came across a couple of plugins that would allow us to use the “old” (current) WordPress Platform after Gutenberg is forced upon us…

    For your information they are:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
    and
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor-addon/

During my review of the Classic Editor Plugin I found this post on their Support Forum:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/yoast-is-broken/

Based on that Plugin Author’s response, it seems they are assuming you will fix “the issue”…. However, it is not clear to me that you are aware of said issue with these specific plugins (individually and/or in combination). I do realize that you are working diligently to make Yoast compatible with Gutenberg.

So, I am submitting this ticket so you can be made aware of that potential issue and reach out to those Plugin Authors as needed for a resolution.

I do know that I plan on using both of the plugins on all of my sites, except one… until I am familiar with Gutenberg. It would be most helpful to not have those plugins break anything else already used on the websites.

My apologies if this is not the correct forum. Please let me know if I should inform you via a different platform.

Thank you for your time and efforts. +ES
