Gutenberg blocks : why is it so cumbersome to define/create?

    Hi

    I actually like this type of editing – always wondered why it’s not like that before. However, without an *easy* way to define even simple component (like a certain type of paragraph). It makes no sense when you have read lots of docs just to start doing the simplest thing.

    If Gutenberg is also about slick client UI, then it misses hugely in this aspect.

    Hey eddr,
    Block Development is in a very early stage, we try to make it more easy with every release. There are coming more and more tutorials and blog articles every day. Feedback is very important for all of us. We have a ticket Very high barrier of entry for developers

    So lets discuss wat the actual problems are and find a way to solve this.

    You’re right. I was a bit frustrated and my output was not constructive.
    I’ve learned more since this post and tried a bit. It’s indeed seems to be in early stages
